Black team was very disrespectful to me as well as to the other team. Not the first time this has happened and they should be informed that this a recreational league. Ridiculous and embarrassing on their parts. I didn't have my cards on me or I would have sent a player off. Reffed this team a few weeks ago and player on the black team freaked out when I blew the final whistle after the 20 minutes were up. He screamed "you can't blow the whistle on an obvious goal scoring opportunity." Every time the ball is in play there is a goal scoring opportunity on the fields because they are small. He was at midfield when I blew the whistle and they had won the game yet he continually wanted to make a scene. And technically according to the rules of soccer you can blow the whistle when time is up unless it is a penalty kick or corner kick. Players also requested me to switch colors since they thought I was a yellow player even though my jersey has stripes on it. I changed colors at halftime. Black team continually complained about every call and were in disbelief that I didn't have eyes in the back of my head. They called for offsides on a goal kick yet there are no offsides on goal kicks. They complained about every offsides call even if it was very close.
